REDEA – Regional Development Agency Međimurje and BICRO – Business Innovation Center of Croatia, together with their German partner INI-Novation GmbH organise conference on cooperation opportunities between Croatia and Germany based on innovations, technology and knowledge transfer. Technology Innovation Centre Međimurje financed by BICRO within the TEHCRO programme will be also presented at the conference.

The opportunities for financing cooperation projects, technology transfer and the actual technologies ready to be applied will be presented at the conference. The emphasis will be put upon innovative ICT solutions from Germany and Croatia which can be the base for strengthening cooperation. The selected emerging sectors are:

• ICT solutions for tourism and for logistic
• Renewable energy sources and energy efficiency.

The participants of the conference will be addressed by Mr. Ivan Perhoč, Međimurje County Prefect, Mr. Dalibor Marijanović, director of BICRO, Mrs. Ivana Nagy, director of TEHCRO, as well as Mr. Pero Munivrana, director of HIT - Croatian Institute of Technology.

Other speakers are Mr. Wolfgang Kniejski, director INI-Novation GmbH, Mr. Rheiner Wichert of German Fraunhofer Institute of Computer Graphics in Darmstadt, as well as other prominent Croatian, German and Spanish experts in the field of innovation management and the mentioned emerging sectors.

The companies from the mentioned sectors, scientists, researchers, innovators, heads of local and regional administration, entrepreneurial associations, tourist boards and agencies, representatives of museums and cultural organizations and all other interested in the conference topics.

Participation at the conference is free of charge. The costs are partially covered within the project “KroatINI- Science and Innovation Marketing Croatia” by German Ministry of Education and Research. The aim of the project is to establish cooperation between German and Croatian partners in science and industry. The conference is also supported by BICRO through Technology Innovation Centre Međimurje.

Official languages of the conference are Croatian and English. Simultaneous translation will be provided.
