Intelligent Energy – Europe (IEE) get the initiative to set up a Local Energy Agency which follows County of Medjimurje strategic objective to pursue economic and social growth based on sustainable development, with focus on innovation, technology transfer and preservation of natural and cultural heritage.

These priorities are outlined in Regional Operational Programme of the County of Medjimurje. Taking into account all outlined factors and in order to frame one comprehensive development policy we see renewable energy as one of the most significant areas to achieve sustainable development.

It has come to our attention that many inquires related to energy are unanswered and probably even more potential business not started due to lack of information or expert assistance to ideas in this area. At the same time renewable energy sector is recognised as emerging market with a lot of potential in growth in economy as well as in employment.
